The Crew of Electron are a creative bunch and they like to concoct ingredients to make interesting tastes for the pallet.

The World famous Electron Cocktail is a very tasty drink for those hazy lazy summers evenings after a days racing. But beware, it does have a significant alcoholic content. Pay attention to the health warnings on the recipe page!

Equally, the Electron bomb was created by necessity. If you run out of lemonade don't worry, bomb the cocktail as a shot!

Skip has also "turned". He has replaced the two burner grill on Electron for a two burner over. The grill on the previous cooker was never used so anything prepared on the boat had to be done on two burners. This meant a lot of sandwiches were eaten and, to be fair, they were pretty good sandwiches too, with all sorts of exotic ingredients such as Granma Balls hot chilli chutney etc.

To be fair to Skip, he has not gone gay! His "turning" is partly due to health reasons and the realisation that all those sandwiches has made him somewhat intolerant to wheat. Again, necessity being the mother of all invention Skip has spent the winter developing "boat bread".

The Electron boat bread has been sampled by a number of other JOG'ers and the response has been favourable. Skip also realises his boat bread, which contains all the ingredients for a ready made sandwich, means the crew need to spend less time below making lunch.

Gently re-heated in Electrons new oven they are delicious!
